Seek first to Understand, Then Be Understood:
  • Monday is a Bullitt Day (Teacher Work Day) SEE EVERYONE BRIGHT AND EARLY ON APRIL 9!  Doors open at 8:30 and school starts immediately at 9:00a.
  • We have lots coming up in the next few weeks and our attendance has been running well below our yearly goal of 96.5%.  Let's finish strong!  Remember, each day that a student is absent, they miss critical information and learning.
  • Just a friendly reminder that our Early Entrance to Kindergarten application closes on April 15th. If your child is NOT age 5 prior to August 1, they may be assessed to identify if they are eligible for early entry. All application information can be found at the link below:
  • Parents & guardians of current 5th grade students are cordially invited to a Parent Meeting at 6:00PM Tuesday, April 30th in MWMS' library. This time will allow parents to meet administrators, learn expectations and ask questions.
  • FIELD DAY will be the last day of school, May 30.  If you wish to volunteer and/or attend, you must have a background check and CAN check on file.  Please do not wait until the last minute - background checks take 2 weeks to complete and CAN checks are taking several months.  Again, you must have these on file to attend and volunteer.
  • KPREP is coming!  Tentative dates for KPREP for grades 3 - 5 are May 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15.  Please avoid scheduling doctor's appointments or any other absences during this time.
