Hello families - 

What a whirlwind of a week!  We were able to celebrate 2/22/22 this week and students participated in "2" activities all day long.  

Next week, we have several wonderful days coming up - Wednesday is Wacky and Wonderful Wednesday to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America.  Students are encouraged to dress wacky and will be given extra time to DEAR - drop everything and read.  

On Thursday evening, we will have our annual Math Night.  See the attached flyer below with more information.

As we move into March, I hope the longer days and excitement for warmer weather brings joy.  Just a brief reminder, however, we do have lots of coats and sweatshirts/clothing in our lost and found.  If your child is missing items, we will be posting pictures on Facebook next week and he/she is welcome to visit our lost and found any day.

It has been incredibly exciting to see our student's whole faces for the first time in a VERY long time.  Please remember, if you do choose to mask your child, please let the teacher know.  We are working to ensure that everyone's masking choice is respected.

Happy Friday!  We had a great week, full of a bunch of activity!  Please remember, on Monday, February 21, 2022, school will be in session.  This is a make-up snow day from January.  As of right now, the last day of school is May 20, 2022.  Please be aware, again, that Monday is a regular school day.

Hello families - 

Happy Friday!  We FINALLY had a full week of school and it has been a whirlwind!  As we enter into the upcoming week, we are focusing on Kindness.  

As you know, Valentine's Day is Monday and we are so excited to celebrate with our students.  Monday - students should wear red or pink.  Throughout the week, we are looking to spread kindness to our world.  If you have pictures of students participating in any Random Act of Kindness, email either Mrs. Manion or me and we'll post on our school FB page.

Hello families - 

Well, this has been quite the week!  Thank you for your flexibility and patience as we navigated two NTI weather days!  We are glad that over 96% of our students participated both days and we continue to work to ensure that our students are engaged in learning, even when we are learning remotely.

This upcoming week, our 4th graders will be taking the NAEP test.  This assessment comes from the US Department of Education and provides information to our federal legislators about how students are learning and growing.  This is of particular interest this year, as we are continuing to battle COVID absences.  We will not see individual or school scores, but will see an overall "heat map" of the US when the assessment is released, more than likely in a year or so.

Our Valentine Parties are also coming up on Monday, February 14.  Please remember, due to COVID restrictions, any treats must be individually wrapped.  Thank you for partnering with us to ensure the kids have a good time and show each other love and kindness.
