Hello CES Families:
Can you believe the weather this week?  From a high in the 70s yesterday to flurries today!  We have had quite a week at Crossroads celebrating Kindness Week!

Monday is a professional development day and President’s Day, so school is not in session. The doors will open Tuesday, February 21 at 8:30 a and school resumes at 9:00 a.

We are starting to have several Parent Engagement Meetings to discuss attendance. Please remember, if your child is going to be absent, please give us a call.

Friday, February 24 is TIE DYE day for $1.  These funds will help us pay for end of the year, field day activities. We are so excited to have that amazingly fun day at the end of the year.

As always, we hope that you have a great weekend and don't forget to Sharpen your Saw!

Hello CES Families:

This week has been a whirlwind and we have TWO amazing people to celebration.  The second week of February is SCHOOL COUNSELOR and FRYSC Weeks!  We are blessed to have both Mrs. Manion and Mrs. Lowery!  Both of these outstanding ladies are integral to the day to day work of our school.  I'm thankful for both of them and I know both our staff and students are, as well.

We have had several students coming into school very close to 9:00, in need of breakfast.    Please make sure your child is at school by 8:50 to ensure that they have enough time to eat and make it to class on time.  And, please remember as a CEP school, all meals are FREE.  We encourage you to have your student eat both breakfast and lunch in our cafeteria.

Next week kicks off our annual Kindness Week!  We encourage you to send pictures of your child being kind to either Ms. Burton (anna.burton@bullitt.kyschools.us) or me (julie.wright@bullitt.kyschools.us).  Also, our annual Valentine celebrations will be at the end of the day on Tuesday, February 14.  Your child's teacher will communicate how they will be celebrating!

Also, please remember next Friday, February 17 is a Bullitt Day and Monday, February 20 is a Professional Development Day - there is no school for students' both of those days.

See below for more information about a parent learning opportunity from Mrs. Lowery:

As always, we hope that you have a great weekend and don't forget to Sharpen your Saw!

Hello CES Families:

Wow!  We had a great week!  Can you believe that it is February?  Unfortunately, Puxatawny Phil did see his shadow, so we have to anticipate 6 more weeks of winter!  But, we are warm and toasty learning lots here at CES!  Today, our students were able to participate in a in-school field trip to a mobile planetarium!  The students engaged in learning about the solar systems around us here on Earth.

We also celebrated 100 school days this week!  There are lots of pictures posted on our school Facebook page, check it out!

I have attached an updated school calendar at the top of this blog.  Please note that the current last day of school for students is May 26.

Kindergarten Pre Registration is coming up March 13!
