We have had a great week!  Our students have been working very hard and our staff is continuing to challenge our students.  We have met with a bunch of parents this week in Parent - Teacher conferences and anticipate meeting with more over the next few weeks.  We encourage you to reach out to us when you would like more information or if you have questions.

Looking ahead, November and December are very busy months.  I encourage you to ask your students "what are you learning?" or "what did you learn today?" when you greet them.  By making a shift in your questions, it encourages the students to tell you more about how they are growing as learners.  

Halloween Parties are Tuesday, October 31.  Students may wear costumes to school on Tuesday.  However, they will need to wear school appropriate shoes (ie, tennis shoes or shoes with a back).  The costume must be school appropriate - no blood, gore, weapons or scary costumes.  Students should not wear inflatable costumes, masks or any thing that hides his/her face.

Report Cards will be released on October 23 via Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  To access your child's elementary school report card, login to Infinite Campus Parent Portal, then click documents from the drop down menu on the left. From there, the Q1 report card can be viewed. If you can not log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal, please call Della Swan (502-869-7400).

Hello Trailblazer Families!

Well, we had a great week after fall break and are jumping right back into learning!  Our students have worked very hard this week and I'm encouraged by their enthusiasm in the classroom.  

Over the next few weeks, there are many activities/events coming up and we encourage you to be involved in as many as you can.  Please schedule time for a conference with your child's teacher.  It is important to connect school and home as much as we possibly can.  See below for more information.
