Hello families - 

Our Yearbooks are for sale!

Yearbooks are $15 and can be ordered by sending in the attached form or by going to Balfour.com and typing in Crossroads Elementary.  

Well, we almost made a whole week without a weather event!  A big thank you to everyone for being patient and following the guidance from the school and district for today's early dismissal.  We did complete 100 school days today and look forward to finishing the remainder of this school year.  As we enter into February, I'd like to remind you that February 21 is now a regularly scheduled school day.  AND, we will be celebrating 2/22/22 on Tuesday as our TUTU-2sDay.  More information will come from teachers and we are so excited to share this day with our students.

Hello families - 

As we enter the last week of January, I want to take time to thank you all for the wonderful and supportive comments we have received as we navigate the winter months and shifts between in person and NTI.  

Next week, we hit a milestone that is always exciting - the 100th Day of School.  Friday is the 100th day and we hope that our students are able to participate in our activities that our teachers have planned.  If not, let's do some dreaming about sunshiney weather and dress in our tropical wear - Hawaiian shirts, leis, etc.  We look forward to having a fun and happy day with our kids.

Hello families - 

We have had a really good week here at Crossroads!  Our teachers have been hard at work and our students' have been really engaged in the instruction occurring in the classrooms.  Although NTI is not the normal classroom environment, we have had great participation with our students and are glad that we are able to still provide instruction.  We hope to see our students back face to face on Tuesday.  Just a brief reminder, but Monday, January 17 is Martin Luther King, Jr day and the school is closed.  We will resume on Tuesday, January 18 with doors opening at 8:30a and school starting immediately at 9:00a.  

I spoke with our students on Friday in brief video about Accepting Challenges.  This year has been quite the challenge, but it has helped develop perseverance with our students.  They are resilient and not scared of trying something new.  As we continue to navigate these uncertain times, know that we are working with our students on developing those amazing "soft" skills that will benefit them as they face new challenges in life.  

We hope you all have a great long weekend and don't forget to Sharpen Your Saw!

Hello families - 

THANK YOU for being flexible this week!  As we navigate the winter weather in the next few weeks, please know we will try to communicate as soon as we know.  Please follow our Facebook page and make sure you have "email" noted in your Infinite Campus notification settings.

The January 7 snow day will be made up on February 21.  As soon as a new calendar is released, we'll publish it here on the blog and send it out via Facebook and Remind.
