Seek first to Understand, Then Be Understood:
  • Jump Rope for Heart is coming soon!  Be on the look out for information coming home in your child's backpack.  See below for scheduled times.  All money will be due February 12.
  • Just a reminder:  School is IN SESSION on February 18/President's Day.  This is a make-up snow day from before Winter Break.
  • Parents, please remember - it is important that you do not check in early to the School Dismissal app for the car rider line.  The students are called out as the line moves and, if you check in early, your child may be outside prior to you being at the front of the line.  Please check in at the crosswalk where Ms. Baker and Mrs. Skeens stand every day.  
  • The Quill and Scroll Society at BE will be hosting an Uno Tournament on Wednesday, January 30th at 6:30. Each ticket to reserve a spot to play is $3 and spectating is $1.  The funds will benefit the Yearbook and Journalism groups at BE.

  • Just a reminder, school is out on Monday to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  School resumes on Tuesday, January 22 with doors opening at 8:30a and school starting promptly at 9:00a.
  • MAP testing is continuing this week.  Please make sure you have your child here, on time and ready to show us what they know.
  • We have had several students with the stomach bug, please remind your children to wash their hands effectively to prevent the spread of germs.  We will be vigilant here, too.

  • We were 5th in the district elementary schools for Month 4 Attendance at 95.86%.  Please remember, attending school is increasingly important.  Each day missed puts a student behind in all areas.  Thank you for working to get your kids here, on time and ready to learn.
