Hello Trailblazer Families!

We DO have school on Monday, February 19!

As part of our work to learn more about our students, staff and families - we are gathering information about what our HOPES AND DREAMS are for our students.  Parents, please take a moment to fill out this quick survey:  CLICK HERE and let us know your opinion.

We had a wonderful KINDNESS WEEK and Valentine's Day!  My hope is that we will continue that kindness emphasis throughout the remainder of the year!

Next Friday is DISNEY DAY!  Dress in your favorite Disney wear or character costume for $1 to benefit our end of the year FIELD DAY!

Speaking of FIELD DAY - traditionally, field day is the last day of school and we need LOTS of volunteers.  Please make sure you have your background check completed, as soon as possible.  They are $10 and good for 2 years.  See Ms. Pam in the office to complete this process.

Next week - we have our Family Dance - Decades Theme on Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30.  The PTA will be providing dinner to as many as we can, but it is first come, first serve.  We look forward to spending the evening celebrating the Valentine Season with your family.  Parents - be looking for a board at the dance for your feedback.  We want to know what YOUR hopes and dreams are for your children.

ALSO - Next week is FRYSC Week and School Counselor Week!  We are SO blessed to have both Gabby Lawson and Lauren Manion with us at CES.  They both provide great love and compassion for our students and are able to surmount huge obstacles to help our kids be successful.  If you have a moment, please send them an encouraging note or message to let them know how thankful we are for them both!
