Hello families -

POP (Positive Office Praise) Ticket Winners:

Staff POP Ticket Winners:

This year is quickly coming to an end!  We have lots of events coming up, but one of the most important is the deadline for returning library books.  It takes Mrs. Weihe a lengthy amount of time to get those books organized and cataloged.  Please have all library books returned by MAY 4.  And May the 4th Be With You - there are Star Wars Prizes for a drawing for students who have their books returned on time!

Next week also starts our state assessment KSA for grades 3 - 5.  Students will be assessed on grade level standard starting Tuesday, May 3 - 5 and May 9 - 10.  Please make sure your child is here, on time and ready to show us what they know.

Also, next week marks Teacher Appreciation Week!  We are beyond thankful for our staff here at CES.  They go above and beyond to ensure that our students needs are met and are challenged.  Don't forget to #thankateacher.

Last, but certainly not least - we will be out of school on Friday, May 6.  The building will be closed.  Enjoy that day and make lots of memories.

As always, take some time to sharpen your saw and have a great weekend!

Ms. Wright

Old Info -

The end of the year FIELD DAY will be May 20 - if you wish to be on campus to volunteer or be a spectator, you will need to complete a background check.  Ms. Pam, our volunteer coordinator, works 10 - 1 Monday - Friday.  Background checks are $10.

Speaking of volunteering, have you thought about being part of our PTA or SBDM?   Both groups are looking for officers and members to help plan for the upcoming year.

We had a great week back from Spring Break!  Our students were so excited to be back and continued to work hard!

We have several things coming up in the next few weeks - particularly May 3 - 9:  KSA - our state assessment for grades 3 - 5.  Students will be taking this assessment and we encourage your child to be prepared by eating breakfast and getting lots of good sleep prior to coming to school.

We hope you all have a great Easter weekend.  Enjoy time with your family and make some memories!

Have a great weekend and take some time to Sharpen Your Saw!
