Hello CES Families:

WOW!  What a WEEK!  We have had so many awesome activities for our students, including our Leadership Day/Wax Museum, Southland Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy, and our Behavior Bash!  We have been blown away by our student's behavior and hard work.  

We still have two more wonderful days of school this year and look forward to making memories with our students.  As you know, we will be closed on Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day, but look forward to seeing our students on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Looking ahead - we have our Kindergarten Orientation scheduled for August 3 and our "Tour de Crossroads" Back to School event on August 7.  More information will be available by checking out our EVENTS on Facebook.

Hello CES Families:

As we end another whirlwind week, we'd like to thank you all for the wonderful Teacher Appreciation gifts and notes that the whole staff received over the past couple of weeks.  We are truly blessed to have a fantastic and supportive school community.

If you haven't heard - our Archery Team participated last week in the National Archery Tournament and qualified for WORLDS!  We are so proud of them and how hard they worked to achieve this goal.

Our track team also has competed several times this year and finished up with a celebration on Thursday.  They have had to overcome many obstacles, as the BE track is currently under construction.  We thank our parents for working to get our students to the various meets.  

Mr. Hughes from BEHS requested that we provide information about the upcoming Cross Country Season:  Click here for more information . 

We were also able to finish KSA testing this week - including make-up tests!  We are thrilled to have been able to complete this assessment in a timely manner.  We had great attendance this week!

Finally, thank you for all the support shown to our students during Grandparent's Breakfasts!  There were so many people and our students were so excited to spend time with each and every person who attended.  Our school, again, is blessed to have such a supportive group of people who love our kids.  THANK YOU for coming!  We're glad you were here.

Hello CES Families:

WOW!  We have had a WHIRLWIND week!  Our students have worked SO HARD on KSA!  Both 3rd and 4th are finished with testing and our 5th graders will finish up on Monday.  Again, the students have been doing well, staying focused and focusing on the assessment. 

Next week, don't forget we do not have school on Tuesday, May 16 for Election Day.  Please remember that school will re-open on Wednesday, May 17 with doors opening at 8:30 and school beginning immediately at 9:00a.

Next Friday, is our last spirit day - TOURIST day!  For $1, students can dress like a world traveller of their choosing.  I look forward to see how creative they are with their costumes!

Hello CES Families:

Happy Derby!  We had an exciting week and ended it with our annual Kindergarten Derby!  It was an amazing event and we are so glad to share this time with all our students.  

Next week starts KSA testing for grades 3 - 5.  Please make sure your child is here, on time and ready to show what they know starting May 10.  

As you know, school is closed on Friday, May 5.   Enjoy the long weekend, make memories with your families and we look forward to seeing our students next week.
