Hello Trailblazer Families,
What a great week! Our students have been engaged in learning all week, working to determine where they are in their instructional level and determining what our next steps are in his/her learning. Thank you for having your children here, on time and ready to learn.
- On Tuesday, August 22, our Preschool and Head Start friends start school! Please keep in mind that buses may be slightly slower than normal for a few days.
- Grades 3 - 5 students will have the opportunity to apply for our Leader in Me Student Lighthouse Team. These 10-12 students will be involved in helping plan many activities in our school. If your child is interested, please have them get an application from Mrs. Skeens. The applications are due Friday, September 1, 2017. The students will be selected through an interview process, similar to a job interview. We'll have interviews in early September.
- Please remember, if you come into the building, you will need a picture ID. Also, if you are going to go on field trips or wish to volunteer, please make sure come in and fill out a volunteer form. They are good for 2 years and are $10.
