Hello CES Families:

This was a great week for all our students and staff!  The kids worked through new expectations in our cafeteria and are doing a great job!  We are constantly re-evaluating our processes, and hopefully this will help make the lunchroom more productive.

We are happy to share with you a partnership with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, BCPS and the BC Public Library.  The Imagination Library provides free books to children ages 0 - 5.  The next sign up is coming up on Thursday, January 26 from 5:00 - 7:00p at the MW Library.
Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed directly to your home. The first book is always the children's classic "The Little Engine That Could". The child must be a resident of Bullitt County and you must submit an official registration form, completely filled out by the authorized adult. Books are received eight to ten weeks after your registration form has been received and will continue until your child turns five or you move out of the covered area.

Also, Friday, January 27 is our monthly Sharpen the Saw celebration with our students. Students work hard to follow expectations and earn Dojo points to be able to select an activity to participate in with various teachers and students. Please encourage your child to continue to follow expectations and do what is right.

Last, but not least, we are coming up on the end of January and we encourage you to continue to monitor the weather. We hope to continue to be in person, but there is always the possibility of a weather related NTI day. Again, those days will be announced via social media and Infinite Campus Messenger, as well as the local news channels.

As always, we hope that you have a great weekend and don't forget to Sharpen your Saw!

Ms. Wright
